I am so excited to share a sneak peak of Spring Collection #2!
This quillo is dedicated to my grandmother, Thaïs (we called her Mimi). Mimi loved the color purple, she loved paisley and she was mad about pansies. When I saw these fabrics, I knew this one would be for her.
On Saturday nite, I will continue a tradition that Mimi shared with me so many years ago — coloring Easter Eggs. I have been coloring eggs for 55 years now. It remains a family tradition because it brings people together, encourages creativity, and celebrates the coming of Spring.
I hope this reminder encourages you to seek out some eggs, coloring dye, a bit of vinegar and some glasses for dipping. You won’t regret it.
